Terms of Service

Last updated:

These Terms govern your use of CAAssist (“the Service”), an AI assistant for Indian tax practice operated by Ariham (“we”, “us”). By signing in you agree to these Terms.

1. What CAAssist is — and is not

CAAssist helps Chartered Accountants and tax professionals draft replies to income-tax notices, reconcile statements, and organise client matters. Outputs — including drafted submissions and citations — are assistive tools, not professional or legal advice. You are the professional of record and must independently review, verify, and take responsibility for anything you file or rely upon.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of information you enter about your clients, for which you confirm you have authority to process.

3. Credits & billing

Certain actions consume credits. Credits and payments are administered through Ariham's shared billing system. Consumed credits are non-refundable except as required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You will not misuse the Service, attempt to breach its security, upload unlawful content, or use outputs in a way that misrepresents them as independently verified legal authority without your own review.

5. Underlying platform

CAAssist is part of the Ariham Legal Cloud ecosystem and retrieves Indian case-law references through Ariham's legal-knowledge platform (also operated as “CourtsAndCases”). Your single sign-on session and credit wallet may be shared across Ariham products under the ariham.com domain.

6. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions taken in reliance on outputs you did not independently verify.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
