Privacy Policy

This policy explains what CAAssist (operated by Ariham) collects and how we use it.
1. What we collect
- Account: your name, email and profile picture from Google sign-in.
- Work data: content you enter — notice text, reconciliation rows, client names/PAN, and generated drafts — stored to provide the Service.
- Usage: basic logs (actions, timestamps) for reliability, security and billing.
2. How we use it
To authenticate you, generate drafts and reconciliations, retrieve relevant case-law references, maintain your workspace, meter credits, and secure the Service. Text you submit is sent to our AI provider (Microsoft Azure OpenAI) to produce outputs; it is not used by us to train models.
3. Data residency & storage
Your workspace data is stored in a database dedicated to CAAssist, hosted in India. Client tax data is kept isolated per firm.
4. Shared Ariham platform
CAAssist is part of the Ariham Legal Cloud ecosystem. To retrieve Indian case-law references we query Ariham's legal-knowledge platform (also operated as “CourtsAndCases”) using a service credential; we send it your search query, not your client identifiers. Your sign-in session and credit balance are managed by Ariham's shared identity and billing services and may apply across Ariham products on ariham.com.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with infrastructure providers (hosting, Google sign-in, Azure OpenAI) as needed to run the Service, or where required by law.
6. Your choices
You can sign out at any time and request deletion of your account and workspace data by emailing us.
